Production Optimization Services for a Gas Lift Field – Lake Maracaibo 1. Purpose of the Engagement Qualified companies with proven expertise in production engineering, artificial lift, and mature field optimization are invited to submit technical and commercial proposals for an integrated diagnostic and optimization project covering approximately 100 oil wells operating under gas lift, located in a producing field in Lake Maracaibo, Venezuela. 2. General Scope of Work The selected contractor shall perform a technical assessment aimed at maximizing oil production, improving gas injection efficiency, and identifying short-, medium-, and long-term optimization opportunities. The scope shall include, at a minimum: Review of historical production data, pressures, injection gas rates, well mechanical conditions, and current gas lift configurations. Classification of wells according to operating condition, improvement potential, and criticality. Well-by-well performance diagnosis, identifying restrictions, over-injection, under-injection, design deficiencies, operational interferences, and opportunities for gas redistribution. Nodal analysis and sensitivity studies for prioritized wells. Evaluation of the gas lift distribution system, including supply-demand balance and optimal gas allocation criteria. Development of technical recommendations by well and by well group, including injection adjustments, valve or mandrel changes, minor interventions, gas lift redesign, and review of flow conditions. Preparation of a prioritized optimization plan, including expected production impact, operational requirements, estimated investment, and implementation timeframe. Definition of performance indicators to monitor the effectiveness of the recommended actions. 3. Expected Deliverables The proposal shall include, at a minimum: Integrated field diagnostic report. Consolidated and quality-controlled well database. Ranking of optimization opportunities. Individual technical recommendations for prioritized wells. Estimated incremental production potential. Implementation and monitoring roadmap. Executive presentation of results. 4. Required Bidder Profile Preference will be given to bidders with demonstrated experience in: Production optimization of mature oil fields. Design and diagnosis of gas lift systems. Integrated well-network-surface studies. Operations in lake environments or assets located in western Venezuela. Use of specialized production analysis and nodal modeling software. 5. Minimum Proposal Content Submissions shall include: proposed methodology, work schedule, technical team composition, relevant experience, key assumptions, commercial structure, and identified project risks. 6. Evaluation Criteria Proposals will be assessed based on technical quality, experience of the proposed team, understanding of the operational challenge, clarity of deliverables, execution timeline, and commercial competitiveness.
